In Japanese “Hentai” means anything that is related to perversity. However in North America this word is used to refer to pornographic Anime and in Japan pornographic Anime is called Poruno Anime or Ero . certain pornographic Anime is also referred as bishoujo based on the character design style of the female characters, but not all bishoujo describes pornography; Sailor Moon, Sakura Wars and Meiking are all bishoujo, whereas only Meiking describes pornography.
Because the word hentai is derogatory, fans of Erotism do not approve of its use to refer to pornographic Anime. Read the rest of this entry »
